Effective cleaning of the HB 5010: A short guide

Cleaning the BÜHNEN HB 5010 melter is crucial for its performance and longevity.  Here are the five easy steps to clean the device:

Emptying the tank: Unplug the device, remove all hoses and hand guns, and allow the remaining adhesive to drain away.

Mechanical cleaning: Use a plastic or wooden spatula to remove incrustations in the tank. Do not use metal spatulas to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.

Removing the filter cartridge: Exchange the filter cartridge after mechanical cleaning and remove it from the device.

Rinsing the tank: Fill the tank with avenia B41577.2 and clean the inside again with a spatula.  

Empting the tank and inserting a new filter cartridge: Allow the cleaner to drain from the tank, insert a new filter cartridge and rinse the tank, the heated hose and the hand gun (or application head).
