When the new software for the relaunch of the HB 4000 was developed, the specialists from our product management team and the experts at SM Klebetechnik pooled their ideas and application knowledge.
The result is now available from us with the HB 4000 connect. The system series comes in a new colour guise, but the outward change is nothing compared to the revised range of functions:
The “connect” series has a large 7” colour touch display. This can be used to intuitively operate the clearly understandable menu structure. The software is included as standard in the entire device series.
The home screen contains all relevant information on the set temperatures, the set pressure, the pump status and the application amount. The sub-menus allow for a higher level of detail than the previously used controls.
Dosing meter function by means of a pressure sensor
The application devices are equipped with a pressure sensor and ensure a consistent adhesive application. The dosing meter function, which is brand new, enables the speed of the pump to be easily adjusted according to the quantity specified in gr/m², gr/m or g/sec.
The control of the pump (various sizes possible) can be easily adjusted via the touch screen. The digital speed display is already included in the standard version. Temperature sensors are available as PT100, Ni120 or NTC. Integration into existing system technology can be carried out without any problems.
The device series is designed for all common hot-melt adhesives. The update for bag and drum melters has been announced by the developers for next year.

An exclusive feature is the option of storing adhesive settings for reliable processing quality. The new HB 4000 connect series also included a user setting with rights management.
The data can be conveniently monitored by means of an Ethernet connection and the data saved via a USB port.
