Nozzle

The nozzle is mounted on the application head or the handgun. Nozzles differ in diameter, length or form. By means of the nozzle, the volume and form of the hot melt application is determined.

The following types of nozzles can be distinguished:

  1. Nozzles for dot and bead application are manufactured with very tight tolerances and ensure accurate bead placement. They ensure a controlled hot melt adhesive flow and optimum strip-off behaviour.
  2. Nozzles for spray application are suitable for a variety of spray applications of a width from 5 to 400mm.
  3. Nozzles for surface application enable a sharp-edge surface application with a width of 5 to 500mm.
  4. Angle nozzles, specially designed for application on parts that must be sprayed at a certain angle.
